5+ years (Participants under 15yrs MUST be accompanied by a participating adult).
When registering for the Neon Run online you will be asked to select whether you want to go in the ‘family’ wave or the ‘after-dark’ wave. The family wave will be from 6pm -7pm and is recommended for those with children 12 and under. All other Neon Runners will be released in waves after the family-friendly session has finished.
Collecting Your Event Kit
If you'd like your gear posted to you prior to the event, select the $10 postage option when entering online. Alternatively you can collect your event kit on the night.

Entering On the Day
We recommend purchasing your ticket online to avoid disappointment! Late entries will be available on the day of the event from the registration marquee on site, unless sold out prior.

This event caters for walkers, joggers, runners and dancers of all ages! You don’t have to sprint the 4km to the finish line, we want you to take in the zones and enjoy your night!

This is not a timed event, we want you guys to have fun and enjoy the journey!
Pets, Prams & Strollers
Due to the nature of this event with the dancing lighting and pumping music, we do not allow pets, prams or strollers. The age limit for this event is 5+.
Transfers are permitted - simply provide your e-ticket (sent out closer to the event) to the person who will be taking your place.

T Size Change
T-shirt changes will not be permitted, please choose carefully in your registration.
Yes, there will be a NEON Bar. You must be 18 years or over, and drink responsibly. Illegal drugs or drunken behaviour that impacts other fellow runners will not be tolerated.
We suggest you allocate this to a friend to look after, otherwise tear off the tag on your race bib and hand this to the friendly Neon Run crew at the baggage drop off point. Please do not keep any valuables within your bags. To ensure less queuing and more fun, we only permit you to drop off your bag once.
These are designed to enhance your Neon experience, especially if you are wearing white! Black lights are ultra violet lights.
There is a drink station on course and also at the finish. Please remember to hydrate after the run before consuming any alcohol.
Absolutely, we don't want you running on a full bladder now do we? Positioned at the start/finish area.
Warning — Neon Zones Lighting and Smoke Machines
If you have experienced an epileptic fit or have asthma, then we advise you to stay away from strobe lighting and smoke machines.
